This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Like every website, its host (Cloudflare) briefly records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it from attack.

The newsletter

If you sign up for the free story, you give us your email address (and your first name, if you choose to). We use it to send you the story and occasional news of new books, because you asked us to. You can unsubscribe with the link at the foot of every email, and your address is then no longer used.

The list is held for us by Kit (kit.com), an email service based in the United States, under its data processing terms. Kit sends the emails and records whether they are opened. We never sell or share your address with anyone else.

If you write to us

Emails to hello@kaelenash.com are kept only as long as needed to answer them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use, by writing to the address above. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority where you live.
